500 gram butter
500 gram sugar
500 gram eggs
500 gram flour.
Let all the ingredients come on room-temperature. This can take one or two hours.
Put the butter in a large bowl and mix it until smooth.
Add the sugar and mix until again smooth.
Put in the eggs, two by two.
Preheat the oven on 350║ Fahrenheit (175║ Celsius) (gas-oven on stand 3).
Sift the flour one or two times, to make your cake enough fluffy.
Butter 3 cake-pans, and sprinkle with flour.
Put the flour into the butter-, sugar- and egg-paste.Try to do this in a short time.
If you do this too long, your cake is not fluffy anymore.
Butter the 3 cake-moulds and powder them with the flour.
Put the dough in the cake-moulds and put them in the oven for 40 - 45 minutes.
Tip: To give your cake extra taste, put in the flour the chopped peel from one lemon.
Or, for chocolate-cake, 3 tablespoons of chocolate-powder through the flour.
Or, for orange-taste, put in some orange-juice on the moment that you put in the
the eggs. You can try many sorts of tastes for a change.
